Kyle Gets Charitable

Yeah that's right, I had a charitable weekend. Let me break it down for you:

Friday
Went to an auto show and diabetes benefit dinner/concert at the "dream cruise" in Birmingham. Watched my pops do some interviews and host the event with local news personality Guy Gordon. Met Edsel Ford II. Saw the Beach Boys perform, then got to schmooze with them in a hotel room VIP party. Yes, I'm VIP now. They were nice, although Mike Love accused Dee of being a sucker and one of the guys tried to steal my cake. Oh yeah...watch for me and my family on Car Crazy TV saying "We're the Smith family, and we're car crazy!!!"

Saturday
Low key day for the most part. Bought myself some cowboy gear for the upcoming Cattle Baron's Ball cancer fundraiser. Ate a big steak dinner, then drank too much, then figured out why exactly I don't like religiousness in the White House.

Sunday
Helped with a American Cancer Society event at the Tiger's game. I mostly hung around and met people while Dee painted kids faces. Let's see, what else...the Tiger's mascot stomped on my moms foot and snagged Dee's hair....My dad was going to throw out the opening pitch but they bumped him for Alice Cooper (who he said looks awful nowadays)...and I learned once again how important it is to get enough sleep before a full day of being "on".
