Kyle Sciences It Up

Good news! My first paper got a near certain acceptance letter by The Journal of Neuroscience. Just a few changes and then, well, ol' Smith here becomes a scientist.

Kyle Hits the Scene

It's been a busy week, let me tell you. Thursday Joe hosted a party for the soon-to-be married Brad and Maggie, where we opened gifts and caught up. Tom supplied the grilled beast for the evening. Mmm, beast. Saturday was the actual wedding: good stuff. Some old lady actually answered her cell phone during the ceremony, which was one of the most rediculous things I've seen in awhile. Otherwise the ceremony and reception were a hit. Sunday it was off to Pentwater, MI, home of the Ainslie cottage on lake Michigan. Did I play bocce ball on the beach? Yes. Did I make a bonfire and eat smores? Yes. Did I eat terrific meals and shove asparagus down my throat by the handful? Yes. Did I dry hump the sand in sexual frustration because I hadn't seen Dee in a few days? No, but I should have.

Now it's back to work, watching the Pistons play some good ol' fashioned Detroit b-ball at local bars, and making pots of coffee so thick that they tastes like pudding.
