Some Nerds candy appeared the lab and it's delicious. On the topic, I was deliciously nerdy last evening, doing some Comparative Vertebrate Neuroanatomy bedtime reading and then dreaming about Fos proteins all night.

Kyle Goes Insane

My friend Steve found out about an abandoned insane asylum in Ypsilanti, explored it, found some incredible things (patient records, complaints, control room, pill bottle, IDs, stretchers and wheelchairs), and actually found the master key to the locked rooms. Anyone want to go?

Kyle Cracks Up

Yesterday I had to make an announcement to 300 students, so I cupped my hands over my mouth, cleared my throat, and hollared "Everybody, please write...", except that my voice completely cracked midway through the first word. Just awful; pure puberty. Everyone within audible range cracked up.
